Pre-orders\/pre-saves are available now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recorded at S\u00e3o Paulo\u2019s A9 \u00c1udio with producer Apollo Nove (Rita Lee, Bebel Gilberto, Seu Jorge),\u00a0<em>Love Chant<\/em>\u00a0marks the welcome return of a justifiably legendary rock \u2018n\u2019 roll band, with founding singer-songwriter-guitarist\u00a0Evan Dando\u00a0joined by a bevy of dear friends and collaborators including\u00a0J Mascis\u00a0(Dinosaur Jr),\u00a0Juliana Hatfield,\u00a0Tom Morgan\u00a0(as co-writer for \u201cDeep End\u201d), producer\u00a0Bryce Goggin\u00a0(Pavement, Antony and the Johnsons), Nashville\u2019s\u00a0Erin Rae, John Strohm of the Blake Babies\u00a0co-wrote and played guitar on \u201cTogetherness,\u201d and\u00a0Nick Saloman of The Bevis Frond\u00a0(a songwriter and performer on the swirling psych-folk gem \u201cRoky\u201d).\u00a0Adam Green\u00a0of cult New York favorites\u00a0The Moldy Peaches\u00a0also contributes as co-writer on the loose-limbed country detour \u201cWild Thing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200b\u200bThe album is heralded by today\u2019s premiere of the hard-hitting new single, \u201cIn The Margin,\u201d available everywhere alongside an official lyric video streaming now on YouTube. \u201cIn The Margin\u201d is a classic Dando composition: half-broken, half-beautiful, wrapped around a melody that disarms before it detonates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI wanted to have a riffy song, so I wrote riffs all over it,\u201d says Dando. \u201cThe body of the song was Marciana\u2019s (Marciana Jones).
